Amy McCullough is an associate and she practices in the areas of civil litigation and adult guardianship.  She practices in both the General District and Circuit Courts of Virginia. As a litigator, she has represented individuals and business clients on cases including landlord-tenant issues, collections, breaches of contract, and a wide variety of real estate disputes. She is also qualified by the Supreme Court of Virginia as a Guardian ad Litem for Incapacitated Adults, and serves often in this capacity as well as representing families in cases involving incapacitated adults.  These cases can include filing of petitions for appointment of a guardian and/or conservator, breaches of fiduciary duty or the sale/encumbrance of property in which an incapacitated person has an ownership interest.

Ms. McCullough has been associated with this firm since 2001.  Prior to that time, she served for two years as law clerk to the Honorable William D. Hamblen of the 31st Judicial Circuit of Virginia.  She has appeared frequently in court both as counsel and as a guardian ad litem and has tried numerous cases in both capacities.

She is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Prince William County Bar Association and has been involved in various service projects on behalf of the Prince William County Bar Association.  She is also active in the community as a member of Zonta International, an international service organization.

She received a B.A. with distinction from the University of Virginia in 1996, where she was an Echols Scholar.  She received her J.D. in 1999 from Washington and Lee University School of Law where she was the recipient of the Alexander M. and Rose S. Harman Scholarship. While at Washington and Lee University, she served in the Alderson Legal Assistance Program and as a member of the Moot Court Board.

Ms. McCullough has been admitted to the Virginia Bar as well as to the bar of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
